Drip Drop: Ricky Raindrop’s Rainwater Challenge

Students become stormwater engineers during this interactive grade-level assembly as they investigate how rainwater moves through different surfaces. Using hands-on models, students compare infiltration and runoff and use evidence to recommend materials that can reduce standing water and better manage rainwater.
Partner-Funded Program
Ricky Raindrop’s Rainwater Challenge is offered at no cost to eligible schools, funded by the Municipal Water District of Orange County (MWDOC) and the Family of Orange County Water Providers.
Funding is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Teachers must submit a grant application to be considered for the program. Submission of an application does not guarantee funding or program availability.
