During this immersive field trip, students become Earth system scientists as they explore Irvine Regional Park to investigate the interactions between the geosphere, hydrosphere, atmosphere, and biosphere. Through hiking, scientific investigations, model building, and observations at the Orange County Zoo, students discover how Earth's systems are interconnected and explore the role humans play within these dynamic natural systems.
