How do inventions get their ideas? During this engaging Traveling Scientist program, students discover how nature inspires engineering and innovation. After exploring the natural phenomenon that inspired the invention of Velcro, students meet live animal ambassadors and investigate how their unique structures help them survive. Students then use those observations to design creative solutions to everyday human problems.
