Become a butterfly scientist for the day! Students investigate what butterflies need to survive by exploring natural habitats, collecting real field data, and comparing different environments. They then apply what they've learned to design a butterfly-friendly playground that supports both people and pollinators.

  • Butterfly Habitat Exploration: Investigate what butterflies need to survive by observing butterfly habitats and identifying the resources they depend on.
  • Butterfly Habitat Survey: Explore two different habitats, collect field data, and determine which location best supports butterflies.
