Wonders of Water: Watersheds

Students join a watershed monitoring team to investigate a fictional community water-quality challenge. Through hands-on investigation, students collect and interpret data, identify potential sources of pollution, and explore how scientists, engineers, and water providers work together to protect community water resources.
Partner-Funded Program
Wonders of Water: Watersheds is offered at no cost to eligible schools, funded by the Municipal Water District of Orange County (MWDOC) and the Family of Orange County Water Providers.
Funding is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Teachers must submit a grant application to be considered for the program. Submission of an application does not guarantee funding or program availability.
