Students become storm drain engineers as they investigate how pollution can enter Orange County’s waterways. Through hands-on testing, students compare storm drain designs and use evidence to determine which solutions are most effective at preventing pollution from entering local waterways.

Partner-Funded Program

Ricky Raindrop’s Pollution Solution is offered at no cost to eligible schools, funded by the Municipal Water District of Orange County (MWDOC) and the Family of Orange County Water Providers.

Funding is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Teachers must submit a grant application to be considered for the program. Submission of an application does not guarantee funding or program availability.
