Can people restore nature? During this engaging Traveling Scientist program, students become environmental scientists as they investigate whether habitat restoration at the Prado Constructed Wetlands successfully increased the variety of plants, birds, and wildlife. Using real evidence collected from the restoration site, students analyze plant samples, compare bird calls, meet live animal ambassadors, and use scientific evidence to determine whether restoration efforts achieved their goal.
