Drip Drop: Ricky Raindrop’s Designs for Drought Challenge

Students become water conservation specialists during this interactive grade-level assembly as they investigate ways schools can reduce the impacts of drought. Through hands-on challenges, students compare water-saving technologies and rainwater-capture designs and use evidence to recommend solutions that can help schools and communities conserve water.
Partner-Funded Program
Ricky Raindrop’s Designs for Drought Challenge is offered at no cost to eligible schools, funded by the Municipal Water District of Orange County (MWDOC) and the Family of Orange County Water Providers.
Funding is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Teachers must submit a grant application to be considered for the program. Submission of an application does not guarantee funding or program availability.
